Research Assistant

Salaried Research Assistant position alongside my PhD at Imperial College London, owning the CT lesion analysis pipeline for the EU FP7 project CENTER-TBI end-to-end.

Highlights

• Developed a clinically validated deep learning model and pipeline for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) segmentation in head CT, leading to a first-author Lancet Digital Health paper (Monteiro et al., 2020) and several co-authored clinical publications.
• Released the open-source blast-ct tool — Brain Lesion Analysis and Segmentation Tool for CT (75★) — as the companion code to the Lancet Digital Health paper.
